Welcome to The Children's House Montessori Kindergarten
Founded in 1992, the children’s House International Montessori Kindergarten was the first Montessori Kindergarten to be founded in Beijing. After its foundation in 1992, it has catered for more than one hundred and fifty children up to the age of six, who hail from every corner of the world. In 2003, due to the overflowing numbers, it opened its second downtown campus in the Lufthansa Center of Beijing. In 2007, it opened its third campus in Yosemite Villas.
The Children’s House International Kindergarten owns a large group of excellent teachers. All the teachers are come from foreign countries and attracted deeply by the interesting and rich culture of China. They love children and pay all their attention on children’s growth.
All of the three campuses provide the perfect environment for children to study and play with each other. Besides for the perfect location of the two campuses, the kindergarten has classrooms with various size and function. The children can also learn to cook in the kitchen built for them.
At present, the kindergarten offers six types of classes, including nursery class (for children aged 3 months—15 months), toddler class (for children aged 1-2.5 years), pre-primary class (for children aged 2-3.5 years), primary class ( for children aged 3-6 years), primary class bilingual (for children aged 3-6 years) and reception class (for children aged 4.5-6 years).
Features of the Children’s House Montessori Kindergarten
As the first Montessori Kindergarten in Beijing, it holds an original idea of children’s education. It believes that the children want to learn, and order and independence is the key. Maria Montessori, the founder of it, designed her special education method during the process of teaching disabled children. In Children’s House, independence is the first.
